Toxicity of aromatic hydrocarbons on Acropora millepora adult corals

Created 24/06/2025

Updated 24/06/2025

This collection consists of a series of data sets assessing the sensitivity of the adult coral, Acropora millepora, to three individual dissolved aromatic compounds (toluene, naphthalene and 1-methylnaphthalene). Physico-chemical data, hydrocarbon analysis data, and coral survival and growth response data were collected during ecotoxicity tests performed at the Australian Institute of Marine Science (Townsville site).
