Walking Track Surface (PWS)

The location and extent of surface techniques employed on walking tracks such as benching, cordwood, duckboard, gravel, parallel planking, rockwork, split logs, steel mesh, fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) and priority erosion control (PEC) measures as depicted in the PWS Asset Management System (AMS). Some tracks include the mapped extent of the natural surface and where absent the surface type can be inferred as natural or not yet assessed. Features are on reserved and crown land.
