Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme.The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.

This dataset consists of a GIS shapefile of groundwater chemistry contour polylines created for the purpose of representing the kriging values for the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) within the Cadna-owie - Hooray and Hutton and Equivalents Aquifers in the Hydrogeological Atlas of the Great Artesian Basin (Ransley et.al., 2014).

Dataset History

These contours were derived using the ArcGIS contour tool using the respective kriging grids (GUID: 5044a067-35d1-4d6d-98a6-17974aa9226a).

These contour lines were then smoothed using an ArcGIS smoothing tool (Toolboxes\System Toolboxes\Cartography Tools.tbx\Generalization\Smooth Line).
