Abstract

This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

This shape file represents an interpretation of the flow direction of regional groundwater within the Pedirka Basin aquifer.

Purpose

This shape file is designed to indicate the likely direction of regional groundwater flow within the Pedirka Basin aquifer.

Dataset History

The groundwater flow arrows are based on the potentiometric surface developed for the Pedirka Basin Regional Baseline Assessment. This surface is published in the Pedirka Basin Hydrogeological Map (Sampson L, Wohling D, Fulton S, Jensen-Schmidt B and Keppel M, 2014, South Australia and Northern Territory Pedirka Basin Hydrogeological Map - Part 1 & Part 2. Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, South Australian Government).
