Operators who hold Environmental Authority (EA) for resource activities may be required to contribute surety to the Financial Provisioning Scheme that started on 1 April 2019. ERC is the estimated cost of preventing/minimising environmental harm and rehabilitating the land on which a resource activity is carried out. The public register contains records of approved ERC notices that have been decided since 1 April 2019.
