This classification of aquatic ecosystems was developed for the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office, Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and Murray-Darling Basin Authority to support the management of environmental water in the Murray-Darling Basin.The interim Australian National Aquatic Ecosystem (ANAE) classification framework has been applied to the Geofabric v3.2 AHGF Network Stream lines © Commonwealth of Australia (Bureau of Meteorology) 2020ANAE Attributes and typology are assigned to each Geofabric river line segment. Individual attribute values and final ANAE type assignment are included in the attribute data table.
