LBA observations for project V252 semester 2019OCTS

The TANAMI VLBI monitoring program has not only consistently met its stated objectives but evolved to incorporate new opportunities as they arise. As a result, in addition to anchoring numerous studies of AGN jets in the southern sky, TANAMI is a central player in the exciting emerging world of multimessenger astrophysics. Here we propose a continuation of this spectacularly successful program in a manner that will prepare us to exploit the emerging opportunity provided by TeV observations with the Cherenkov Telescope Array in combination with ongoing GeV observations by Fermi/LAT. VLBI observations will be vital as the only window to parsec scale kinematics and morphology of AGN providing jet parameters and structural change information essential to understanding the energetics of AGN jets.
