Loading zones are located and operate at times where there is a demand for a particular activity such as passenger loading or delivering goods. Brisbane City Council has passenger set down and pick up loading zones available across the city. The locations of these zones can change over time, so you must check local signs to make sure you do not park illegally.
These loading zones allow passengers to be dropped off or picked up without affecting traffic flows.
If you park longer in these loading zones, even if you remain in your car, you can be fined. Make sure these spaces are only used to pick up or drop off.
